The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, set to release on May 19, was still being polished earlier this week for optimal performance on all platforms, making it run at 1080p/30fps on PlayStation 4, 900p/30fps on Xbox One and a whopping 1080p/60fps on PC. CD Projekt Red CEO and co-founder Marcin Iwinski also mentioned in a statement that they’ve been working full speed on the expansions Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine for the past two weeks.

In anticipation of the game’s big release next week, some reviews have dropped on gaming websites: GameSpot gives a 10/10 , IGN a 9.3/10 , Game Informer a 9.75/10  and Kotaku gives it a big yes.

CD Projekt Red has announced a week before the release that players will be prompted to download an update that will make technical improvements, such as better overall frame rate, immediately upon installing the game for the first time. This update will be available on all platforms.

Will you get The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt next week?
