Yooka-Laylee

Are you feeling nostalgic about Banjo-Kazooie? Well I have just the game for you!

Yooka-Laylee is a 3D platformer made by the same creative talent behind Banjo-Kazooie! They came together to form a new company named Playtonic Games.

Yooka-LayleeThe game revolves around a new duo composed of a green chameleon named Yooka and a purple bat named Laylee. They will travel through five distinct worlds, with the possibility of expanding them! You heard me right, you will complete challenges to earn Pagies and with those, you can unlock new worlds and expand them if you want! If you’re not interested in expanding the worlds, it’s perfectly fine. You can finish the game without expanding any of the worlds. Eager to know the end of the story, but still want to complete the game in its entirety? No worries! After you’ve kicked the final boss’ ass, you can still explore and expand the worlds.

Trowzer

On May 11, we got an update introducing the first support character: Trowzer! He is a “business-snake whose career never took off”. Even though his career didn’t work out, he still thinks he’s “the bee’s knees” and will teach you some moves if you give him money.

Ghost WritersOn  May 29, another set of characters was introduced! This time we met the Ghost Writers. They are the ghosts of the scribes behind Yooka-Laylee’s mysterious book worlds. The Ghost Writers are each cursed to roam in their creation, each in a different location. The player’s role is to free each of them for a special reward.

Want to back it? You have until June 16 to do so at this link: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/playtonic/yooka-laylee-a-3d-platformer-rare-vival
