The Mario & Sonic series will be getting a new game called Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games and will be available on 3DS and Wii U. There’s no release date yet, but Nintendo does want the game to be tied to the Brazil Olympic Games next August.

Catalin Alexandru Duru has broken the world record for distance traveled on a hoverboard. He flew over Lake Ouareau in Lanaudiere, Quebec, for 275.9 meters and reached a height of 5 meters on his propeller-based hoverboard; that he made himself!

Windows 10 will be available from July 29. If you’re using windows 7 or 8.1, you can upgrade to Windows 10 for free for a limited time.

Square Enix will reveal a secret title at E3 this year.

GameStop swoops in and offers $140 million USD for Geeknet Inc., beating Hot Topic’s offer. The purchase should be completed by the end of GameStop’s next fiscal quarter.

You can now get a refund for games, softwares, pre-orders, DLCs and bundles purchased on the Steam client. You cannot be refunded movies, games where you have a VAC ban and if it was purchased on a third-party website.

Tangled is getting a TV series on Disney Channel. Production has started for a premiere set in 2017.

Counterfeit Amiibos of Mario, Link, Samus and Pikachu have appeared on the market so be sure to check for these signs to make sure you’re not buying a fake:

  • Fake Link has a distorted face
  • Fake Pikachu’s arms are fused with his body
  • Fake Samus’ head is way too small
  • Fake Mario’s colors are slightly off and his fireball isn’t transparent enough.
  • The packaging is also different from Nintendo’s packaging.

Sims 4 is getting a new world on June 11 that will be free for all owners of the game. This world will have three new neighborhoods, each with five empty lots where players will be able to build their own home or place a downloaded one. More info here:
