E3 2016: Sony conference

They started off the conference by playing a demo of God of War where we follow Kratos going on a hunting trip with his son.

A trailer for Days Gone was shown, followed by The Last Guardian, which will be released on October 25 2016. We then got to see some gameplay of Horizon: Zero Dawn and got a release date for February 28 2017. After that we got to see a trailer for Detroit Become Human.

Then Sony excited it’s fans by showing a trailer for Resident Evil 7 for VR with a release set to January 24 2017. Riding on the excitement for Resident Evil 7 on VR, they announced the Playstation VR headset, which will be at 399$USD and will come out on October 13 2016. They plan on releasing 50 games for this headseat from the release to the end of the year.

A few trailers for future VR games they’re working on were shown afterwards. We saw Farpointthe X-Wing VR Mission for Star Wars Battlefront, Joker introduced us to Batman Arkham for VR coming this October, there will be a VR experience for Final Fantasy XV coming September 30 2016.

Some gameplay of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare was shown and we got November 14th as the release date. With this reveal, they announced that if you pre-purchase the game, you’ll get Call of Duty: Modern Warfare remastered campaign + 10 mp maps. On top of that, the campaign will be available 30 days early for PS4.

 

 

After a quick announcement for the remaster of CrashCrash 2 and Crash Warped for PS4, it was revealed that Crash Bandicoot would be available to play in Skylanders Imaginators this October, on top of being able to create your own Skylanders. We then got a trailer for Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which will be out in two weeks.

Fans got excited when Hideo Kojima came on stage and presented the first game of Kojima Productions: Death Stranding starring Norman Reedus.

A trailer for Spiderman on PS4 followed this exciting news and they finished off the conference with a live demo of Days Gone.
