Weight Loss Journey – Weeks 10-11

Workout plan

On week 10 I did the first workout of Week 7 on the program. I had every intention of doing the rest, but I had a huge exam on Wednesday morning and I was so exhausted from spending the past 3 days stressed out over it that I had no energy to workout at all. Then on Thursday I was too busy planning the weekend (we visited my mom 3 hours away) and on Friday we left for my mom’s place.

We did walk a lot that weekend because we visited a zoo on Saturday and two museums on Sunday. We came back home on Monday and I had too much things to catch up on (laundry and grocery shopping) to workout. I tried doing the second workout of Week 7 on Tuesday, but I was still way too exhausted from the weekend. Barely made it to 22 minutes (5 minute walk at the beginning and about 5 times the 2 min run/1 min walk). On Wednesday morning, I decided to rest up and got out of bed around 11:30 a.m. Then I had a dentist appointment after lunch and spent the rest of the afternoon with half of my mouth numb and spent the evening with my teeth in pain, so no workout. I tried on Thursday again, did the whole workout, but with 4 breaks. After about the same time as Tuesday, I started feeling lightheaded so I sat down to calm myself. Once I felt better, I started again and kept doing that after every set until I was done.

Having this much trouble with this workout is really bringing me down since I used to be able to do much more. But the fact that I can’t properly finish the second workout of Week 7 means I need to stay on that one until I can actually do it in one go before going to the next.

I wanted to aim for a better time doing the 5K this year, but with how it’s going, I’m not quite sure I’ll be able to. I’m still going to do my best and try to up my speed, but I’m not quite sure I’ll make it. At least I’m still working out so I’m not losing anything.
